WESTMINSTER — Authorities reported a successful rescue operation Tuesday after Windham County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Westminster Fire & Rescue responded to a dirt bike accident on Windmill Hill Rd.
Deputies and rescue personnel utilized technical equipment to navigate approximately 200 yards down a trail to reach the injured rider.
After providing initial assistance, the team carried the biker and their equipment back through the woodland to safety.
Golden Cross Ambulance crews were at the scene to offer Advanced Life Support care before transporting the patient for further medical treatment.
The coordinated effort among the responding units resulted in a well-executed rescue mission.
