LYNDONVILLE — A routine traffic stop on June 1 led to the arrest of a St. Johnsbury man for multiple outstanding warrants, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.
At 7:48 a.m., Officer Renaudette stopped a vehicle on Broad Street for a traffic violation.
During the stop, Christopher Briggs, 35, was identified as a passenger in the vehicle.
A check revealed Briggs was wanted on two separate warrants: one for embezzlement from Essex County Court and another for violation of conditions of release from Caledonia Superior Court.
Briggs was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held pending arraignment.
The Lyndonville Police Department has not released further details on the case at this time.
