HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on charges of domestic assault, unlawful restraint, and resisting arrest following a family dispute on May 24.
Authorities took Justin Clodgoe, 42, into custody after responding to the incident on Luke St. around 3:54 p.m. Police report that Clodgoe caused a family member to fear for their safety.
After processing at the St. Albans barracks, Clodgoe was lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,500.
He is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Tuesday, May 28, at 1 p.m. to face the charges.
The identity of the victim has not been released by the police.
