PLYMOUTH — A 16-year-old driver was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Dublin Road that resulted in minor injuries, according to Vermont State Police reports.
The crash occurred on May 23, at approximately 3:34 p.m., when Brody McGaffigan, driving a 2016 Toyota Highlander, veered off the road and down an embankment before the vehicle overturned in a river.
McGaffigan, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Springfield Hospital for treatment.
State Troopers from the Rutland Barracks, along with the Plymouth Fire Department and Ludlow Town Ambulance Service, responded to the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint is pending.
The road conditions were noted as dry and normal, and the weather was clear at the time of the incident.
