BOSTON — The Boston Police Department has successfully located 8-year-old Jayden Jean, who was earlier reported missing from the Dorchester neighborhood.
Jayden, described as a black male with a thin build and standing 5 feet tall, was last seen after getting off his school bus at the corner of Norfolk and Middleton Streets.
He was wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “cool” on it and black sweatpants at the time of his disappearance.
Authorities had urged anyone with information regarding Jayden’s whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or the B-3 detectives at 617-343-4712.
The Boston Police Department has not released details regarding the circumstances of Jayden’s discovery, but the cancellation of the missing person alert comes as a relief to the community and the boy’s family.
