WORCESTER — Worcester Police officers arrested a man Saturday morning after he allegedly attacked his neighbor with a knife during a dispute.
At around 10:12 a.m. on May 18, officers were called to June Street where they found a male victim with a throat laceration.
The victim, who was alert and conscious, reported that he had been in an argument with his neighbor that escalated to violence.
Police located the suspect, 38-year-old Kenneth Benson, in his apartment and arrested him without further incident.
Benson is now facing charges including assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Emergency responders transported the victim to the hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
