Middlebury man arrested for fifth DUI, driving with suspended license

MIDDLEBURY — A Burlington man was arrested early Sunday morning on multiple charges, including his fifth DUI and driving with a suspended license, after a traffic stop on Court Street.

Vermont State Police identified the driver as 27-year-old Brandon R.

Yandow during the incident that occurred at approximately 12:01 a.m. Troopers stopped Yandow after noting several motor vehicle violations.

Upon interaction, troopers observed signs of impairment and took Yandow into custody under suspicion of DUI.

The subsequent investigation revealed that Yandow’s driver’s license was criminally suspended and that he had breached the terms of his active conditional release.

Yandow was processed at the New Haven State Police Barracks and later released to a sober adult.

He received a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on May 20.

In addition to DUI and driving with a suspended license, Yandow faces charges for misuse of number plates, tail lights violation, operating without liability insurance, failure to register, and a passenger possessing an open container.
