HARTLAND — A man from Avon, Indiana, was cited for excessive speed early this morning after Vermont State Police clocked his vehicle traveling at 111 mph on Interstate 91.
During a speed enforcement operation around 1:26 a.m., state troopers detected a vehicle significantly exceeding the 65 mph speed limit.
The driver, identified as 45-year-old Mark Cerone, was pulled over near mile marker 64.
Cerone is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on July 30 at 8 a.m. to face the speeding violation.
