PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police made several arrests, including a fugitive from justice and individuals charged with vehicle-related offenses.
At 1:30 p.m., troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks apprehended Keith Ware, 48, of Laurel Hill, Florida, on a fugitive from justice warrant issued by Camden, New Jersey Police Department for burglary – forced entry.
The arrest occurred after troopers responded to Providence Superior Court to take custody of Ware.
He was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending his arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
Earlier, at 1:08 a.m., troopers arrested Rui R.
Sena, 22, of Providence, on charges including forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates, and operating under a foreign license during suspension in Rhode Island.
The arrest followed a vehicle stop on Charles Street.
Sena was taken to headquarters, processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a summons to appear in district court.
Subsequently, at 2:44 a.m., Amadin G.
Asemota, 40, also of Providence, was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle – third offense, conspiracy, soliciting another to commit a crime, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
This arrest resulted from a vehicle stop on Dean Street.
Asemota was brought to headquarters, processed, and held overnight for arraignment in district court.
