ENOSBURG — On May 16, at approximately 2 p.m., State Police were dispatched to a residence on 116 St Albans Street after receiving a trespassing complaint.
Homeowner Yon Barrenechea, 65, reported that he was awakened by the presence of three unknown individuals in his house.
According to Barrenechea, the trespassers, upon confrontation, claimed they believed the house to be vacant before apologizing and fleeing the scene.
The suspects were described as one male and two females, all Caucasian.
The male reportedly has a dark beard and dark hair and was seen wearing a light blue t-shirt.
One of the females was noted to have blonde hair.
Barrenechea mentioned that all three appeared to be heavy set.
State Police are actively seeking information regarding the incident and have encouraged witnesses or anyone with knowledge to reach out to Trooper Cote.
