Worcester man arrested for assault at Union Station, found with drugs

WORCESTER — Worcester Police arrested a man after a violent altercation at Union Station on May 15.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., a police sergeant requested backup for a fight at the station’s entrance.

Responding officers found a 35-year-old male with facial injuries.

After breaking up the altercation, the investigation led officers to Ahjee Keyon Damon, 29, who they determined had kicked the victim in the head multiple times.

While processing the incident, officers discovered Damon had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Damon attempted to escape and resisted arrest but was eventually apprehended and handcuffed.

A subsequent search revealed Damon was carrying several bags of what is believed to be a class A substance and rocks of suspected crack cocaine.

He faces charges including Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Resisting Arrest.
