SOUTH WINDSOR — An 18-year-old Newington resident was arrested Tuesday morning after a domestic dispute led to the smashing of a vehicle window, according to South Windsor Police Department.
Brian P. Misztal was taken into custody at 7:24 a.m. on May 14 after engaging in a fight with the victim and attempting to enter a vehicle.
He subsequently shattered the vehicle’s window, prompting police intervention.
Misztal was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and disorderly conduct.
He was processed and held on a $2,500 surety bond before making an appearance in Manchester Superior Court later that day at 10 a.m.
In a separate incident on the same day, at approximately 5:09 p.m., Natalie N.
Theroux, 18, from Simsbury, was arrested after being found as a passenger in a car stopped on Route 5 near Ellington Road.
Theroux was in violation of two active protective orders, which prohibited her from contacting the individual she was found with.
Police charged Theroux with two counts of violation of a protective order.
She was processed and held on a $100,000 surety bond and is due to appear in Manchester Superior Court today at 9 a.m.
