Bristol man arrested on narcotics charges

BRISTOL — Members of the Bristol Police Department Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET) arrested Jorge Concepcion on May 9 following an investigation into alleged narcotic sales at his residence at 21 Mercier Avenue.

The investigation began earlier in May after the NET received multiple complaints from the community.

NET determined that Concepcion, 45, was involved in the illegal sale of narcotics.

They obtained two arrest warrants for Concepcion and a search warrant for his residence.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. on May 9, NET and the Bristol Patrol Division executed the search warrant at 21 Mercier Avenue.

Investigators discovered evidence of a drug factory, including illegal narcotics and a firearm.

Concepcion has been charged with use of narcotic paraphernalia, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory, two counts of illegal sale of narcotics, and criminal possession of a firearm.

He is being held on a $150,000 surety bond.

The Bristol Police Department extended thanks to the Bristol Patrol Division and the community for their assistance in the investigation.
