WORCESTER — Worcester Police officers from the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a Main St. residence on May 10, leading to the arrest of a 32-year-old man in connection with an April assault involving a firearm.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., officers entered the home and detained Corey Caraballo.
During the search, law enforcement found substances believed to be cocaine and several white pills, alongside what appeared to be ammunition.
Additionally, officers discovered a realistic replica “starter” pistol loaded with blank rounds, capable of producing a sound and muzzle flash similar to an actual gun.
Caraballo faces charges including Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (firearm), Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Possession of a Class B Substance.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to address firearm-related crimes in the area.
