NEWFANE — Vermont State Police arrested 33-year-old Orin Knapp on charges of 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault and Domestic Assault on May 8, at approximately 4 p.m.
The arrest followed an investigation that commenced after authorities were informed of incidents occurring on May 4 and earlier in April, where Knapp allegedly assaulted family members.
Following the arrest, Knapp was held without bail.
Knapp, a resident of Newfane, is scheduled to be flash cited to Windham County Court on May 9.
