SPRINGFIELD — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Cheyenne Boone, who was reported missing Monday.
Responding to a report of a suicidal female on the Memorial Bridge, officers from the Springfield Police Department found Boone’s personal belongings on the sidewalk of the bridge, but there was no sign of Boone herself.
Joint efforts by the Springfield, West Springfield, and Agawam Fire Departments to find Boone involved launching rescue boats into the Connecticut River.
Despite the search, Boone has not been located.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Cheyenne Boone’s whereabouts to contact Springfield Police Detectives at 413-787-6360 or the non-emergency number at 413-787-6300.
