PLYMOUTH — Plymouth Police Department recorded a busy week from April 29 to May 5, responding to 460 calls for service, which included numerous arrests ranging from open container violations to credit card fraud, according to their weekly activity report.
The arrests began on April 29, with a 21-year-old taken into custody for an open container town ordinance violation, followed by a 40-year-old arrested for protective custody of an intoxicated person.
The following day, a 19-year-old faced charges for willful concealment related to shoplifting.
As the week progressed, the department reported a 28-year-old’s arrest on May 1 for credit card fraud involving an amount between $0 and $1,000, in addition to an arrest warrant.
That same day, a 31-year-old was also arrested for willful concealment – shoplifting.
The report detailed a 30-year-old’s arrest for violation of a protective order contempt on May 2.
Noise violations led to several arrests between May 3 and May 5, with individuals ranging from 20 to 25 years old being charged under the disorderly actions ordinance.
Theft by deception charges were brought against a 26-year-old on May 4, who was also apprehended on an outstanding warrant.
Multiple arrests for open container violations and unlawful possession/intoxication were noted throughout the week, culminating in a series of arrests on May 5.
Investigations into various other incidents included controlled drug possession, theft, lost property, juvenile-related information, sexual assault, simple assault, a dog bite, and a civil issue.
Despite the numerous arrests and investigations, Plymouth Police reported no motor vehicle accidents during the week.
Traffic enforcement yielded 10 warnings and one citation for moving violations, while 33 parking citations were issued.
No vehicles were immobilized due to non-payment of parking fines.
