LYNDONVILLE — A local man was arrested late Wednesday night for driving under the influence, speeding, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.
Tristian Gallagher, 26, of Lyndon, was stopped by police on Severance Hill Road at about 10:41 p.m. after he was observed driving at an excessive speed.
Upon further investigation, the officer noted signs of impairment.
Gallagher was taken into custody and later released to a sober party.
He received a citation and is scheduled to be arraigned at Caledonia Superior Court on May 20 at 8:30 a.m.
The Vermont State Police provided assistance during the incident.
