Enosburg officials seek owner of adrift boat found in river

ENOSBURG — On the morning of May 6, Vermont State Police were alerted to a found property incident involving a small boat adrift in the Missisquoi River near the Enosburg Dam off Village Drive.

The discovery was reported at approximately 8:36 a.m. by the Enosburg Fire Department, who first noticed the vessel floating without any occupants.

Authorities are currently seeking to identify and locate the owner of the boat.

A photograph of the abandoned boat has been released to aid in the identification process.

Vermont State Police are asking anyone with information about the boat or its owner to reach out.
