BOSTON — Boston police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a shooting last year on Stratton Street that left multiple people injured.
At about 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit apprehended Micah Ennis, 25, of Boston, in the area of 33 Ellingwood Street.
The arrest was supported by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Stop Team, U.S.
Marshals, and officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) and District B-3 (Mattapan).
Ennis, the second suspect linked to the shooting, was wanted on multiple warrants from Suffolk Superior Court, including five counts of armed (firearm) assault to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, a large capacity feeding device, and a machine gun, along with five counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
He is scheduled for arraignment in Suffolk Superior Court.
The first suspect, Gianni Williams, 25, of Dorchester, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, in the area of 46 Franklin Street, Lynn, with the assistance of Lynn Police Department and U.S. Deputy Marshals.
Williams faced similar charges to Ennis and has been arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The shooting incident occurred at about 8:36 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, when officers were called to 180 Stratton Street due to a shot spotter activation.
Upon arrival, they found multiple victims with gunshot wounds.
Five individuals were transported to local hospitals, all with non-life threatening injuries.
