DANBY — On May 1, at approximately 8:09 p.m., Vermont State Police responded to a reported family fight on Baker Brook Road.
Eric Eaton, 53, of Danby, was arrested after troopers determined he had caused pain and/or injury to family and/or household members.
Eaton was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
Following his arrest, Eaton was lodged at Marble Valley Correctional Center.
He is scheduled to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on May 2 at 12:30 p.m. to face charges of first degree aggravated domestic assault.
The Vermont State Police have not released the names of the victims in adherence to policies protecting the identities of victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.
