CALAIS — Vermont State Police arrested a 22-year-old man on multiple charges including aggravated domestic assault and resisting arrest after responding to a disturbance on Bliss Road at 12:52 p.m. on May 1.
Authorities say Steven Corbett of Calais was served with a restraining order upon their arrival at the residence.
Corbett immediately violated the order and resisted arrest.
Further investigation revealed that earlier in the day, Corbett allegedly attempted to run the victim, who was the subject of the restraining order, off the road.
After being processed at the Berlin Barracks, Corbett was lodged at Northeast Correctional Regional Facility without bail pending his court appearance.
