HIGHGATE — A Highgate man was cited for simple assault after an incident on US Route 7, Vermont State Police reported.
At around 7:06 p.m. on April 29, authorities received a call concerning an assault involving two local men.
The investigation revealed that Jesse Koslowski, 26, allegedly caused physical pain to Lonny Grandchamp, 56, both residents of Highgate.
Koslowski has been issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Criminal Court on May 28 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges related to the assault.
Further details regarding the nature of the altercation have not been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
