BERLIN — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 Northbound left a car damaged but the driver unharmed on April 29.
Vermont State Police responded to the incident near Mile Marker 51.2 at 6:31 p.m. after reports of an accident.
The driver, Niyati Khanduri, 38, of Williston, was traveling alone in her 2017 Honda Fit when she lost control of the car.
The vehicle slid and subsequently rolled over onto its driver side, resulting in moderate damage.
Khanduri, who was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, managed to avoid injury.
Authorities did not transport her to the hospital, and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Troopers noted the weather was clear and the road conditions were dry, factors that likely helped prevent a more severe outcome.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
Traffic flow on I-89 was temporarily affected while the scene was cleared, but no significant delays were reported.
