Cranston arrests include stalking, child abuse and larceny charges

CRANSTON — Three individuals faced arraignment on various charges, including stalking, child abuse, and larceny, after being taken into custody on April 29 by different law enforcement units in Rhode Island.

Bradley Peterson, 58, with a last known address of 30 Howard Avenue, was charged with stalking.

The ACI Investigations Unit apprehended Peterson, who was later arraigned in Third Division District Court.

He is currently held without bail as a probation violator.

On the same day, the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Joshua J. Mello, 49, of 15 Connecticut Street.

Mello faced charges of second-degree child abuse and disorderly conduct based on a Cranston Police Affidavit and Arrest Warrant.

He was processed and then handed over to the Cranston Police Department without incident.

Also arrested was Rachel Ware, 44, from the same address on Connecticut Street.

Ware was charged with larceny and disorderly conduct, also on a Cranston Police Affidavit and Arrest Warrant.

Similar to Mello, she was taken into custody without any issues, processed, and turned over to local authorities.
