WINDHAM — A Massachusetts man was arrested today after being clocked by New Hampshire State Police driving at 108 mph on Interstate 93 during a traffic enforcement initiative.
Trooper Provenza, from the Special Enforcement Unit, spotted the speeding 2015 BMW 228i from a State Police aircraft and coordinated with Trooper Knell of Troop B on the ground to apprehend the driver.
The man, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Dube of Methuen, Massachusetts, faces charges of reckless operation and failure to display license plates.
The initiative, aimed at curbing speeding and aggressive driving, also led to the arrest of three other drivers for exceeding 100 mph and 17 drivers for going over 90 mph.
In addition to speed-related offenses, a child restraint was inspected, and one motorist was found to be driving after suspension.
New Hampshire State Police have announced that they will sustain these enforcement efforts throughout the spring and summer to enhance highway safety and minimize accident risks.
