NAUGATUCK — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of shoplifting beer from Big Y on April 21.
The Naugatuck Police Department released a surveillance photo of the individual involved in the theft, which occurred on Sunday.
The suspect fled the scene in a light-colored sedan that might be missing its front bumper.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Officer Masella at 203-729-5222.
Tips can also be provided anonymously by calling the Confidential Tip Line at 203-720-1010.
The case has been registered under number 24-9527.
The department has not released any additional details about the quantity of beer stolen or the estimated value.
