PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested Victor Hernandez Marte, 36, of Providence, on charges of threatening to place or falsely report a bomb in a public building.
The arrest stemmed from an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest followed an investigation by the barracks, with Capitol Police taking Hernandez Marte into custody at the Sixth District Court.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later transported to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
