MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — A vehicle fire prompted a swift response from the Manchester by the Sea Fire Department and the Manchester by the Sea Police Department this morning after a call from the North Shore Regional 911 Center at 9:36 a.m.
Engine 1 and C1 were dispatched and successfully extinguished the blaze.
Officials confirmed there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The fire department took the opportunity to issue a safety reminder to the public: If your vehicle begins to smoke, pull over to a safe area, exit the vehicle, and remain at a safe distance.
