STOWE — The Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization has announced its new titleholders for the upcoming year, selecting Meara Seery as Miss Vermont 2024 and Charlee Royer, as Miss Vermont’s Teen 2024 at their annual competition held at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.

Royer, only 15, from Newport, plans a future in Psychiatry. Awarded a substantial scholarship through the Miss America Opportunity, she is set for a full academic path at the University of Alabama, contingent on her acceptance.

Royer’s initiative, “Beyond the Ribbon,” aims to support mental health for children affected by cancer, a cause close to her heart as her mother is a breast cancer survivor.

Seery, a 24-year-old from Brattleboro and a graduate of The George Washington University, is set to represent Vermont in the Miss America 2025 competition. With a degree in Photojournalism, Seery currently serves as a digital producer and has also been accepted to graduate school at Champlain College.

Her advocacy focuses on sustainability through her Community Service Initiative, “Green for Good.”

Both winners expressed deep gratitude and excitement about their new roles and the opportunities to contribute to their communities and promote the values of the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization.
