WESTBROOK — Westbrook Police Officers recovered a stolen motor vehicle from Colorado and arrested a 51-year-old woman early this morning on Arlington Avenue.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers located the vehicle and identified the suspect as Kristin Roberts of Portland.
Roberts had an extraditable warrant from Colorado.
When officers approached her at a residence to make an arrest, she resisted and assaulted an officer by punching them in the face.
The officer did not sustain injuries.
Roberts was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
She faces charges of assault, refusing to submit to arrest, and being a fugitive from justice.
The stolen vehicle was towed from the scene.
