OXFORD — A suspect was apprehended on Thursday after officers responded to a robbery at the Cumberland Farms store on Main Street.
At around 1:30 p.m., Oxford Police Department received a call from a store clerk at 311 Main St., reporting a robbery in progress.
The suspect, Ronald Zarzecki, allegedly entered the store with a knife, demanded money, and fled the scene on a red bicycle.
Using surveillance footage, authorities identified Zarzecki, who was also linked to a similar incident at Market Basket on April 8.
Upon searching his last known address, officers located Zarzecki hiding behind insulation in a laundry room.
Zarzecki has been charged with armed robbery, assault with intent to rob, larceny from a person, and disorderly conduct.
He was held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned earlier today at Dudley District Court.
