MILFORD — Following a joint operation by the Milford Police Detective Bureau and Peabody Police Detectives, Phillip Cassie Jr., 21, of Peabody, was arrested on Thursday on charges of disseminating obscene material to minors.
The arrest and search warrants were executed at Cassie’s residence.
Cassie was taken into custody without incident and later transported to the Milford Police Department where he faced multiple charges related to the offense.
The investigation leading to Cassie’s arrest involved extensive collaboration between the two police departments.
Details of the obscene materials and the extent of the distribution were not immediately released, as the case remains under investigation.
