ROCHESTER — A man wanted in connection with a domestic violence-related assault led New Hampshire State Police on a high-speed pursuit through multiple cities Thursday night before being apprehended.
At around 8:00 p.m., Troopers from the Troop A Barracks received a BOLO alert for a 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by a suspect sought by the Rochester Police Department.
Rochester officers located the Jeep around 8:58 p.m. and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled.
Trooper Matthew Dushame engaged in pursuit as the Jeep sped through Rochester, Somersworth, and Dover on Routes 125 and 108.
Tire deflation devices were deployed, bringing the Jeep to a slow-speed chase before it stopped on Route 108 near Tebbetts Road.
Troopers arrested 41-year-old Christopher Glover of Rochester without further incident.
Glover showed signs of impairment and faces multiple charges, including reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and aggravated DUI.
Glover, who refused a chemical test, was held in preventative detention at the Strafford County House of Corrections and arraigned in Rochester District Court today.
The northbound lane of Route 108 was closed for about 45 minutes for investigation and vehicle removal, with assistance from local police and Doug’s Towing & Automotive Repair.
Authorities are seeking additional information and have asked witnesses to contact Trooper Dushame.
