Two arrested in Lyndon for DUI, multiple violations

LYNDON — Vermont State Police arrested two individuals late on April 10 after a traffic stop on Tulip Street and South Street led to charges of driving under the influence and violation of court conditions.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks, while on patrol, noticed a motorist committing several violations and initiated a stop.

The driver, identified as Jeremy Bush, 45, from Sutton, displayed signs of impairment.

After conducting field sobriety tests, which Bush failed, he was taken to the barracks for processing.

Bush faces charges of DUI – Drug, and driving with a criminally suspended license.

He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on June 17 at 8:30 a.m. His vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.

The passenger, Janita Ledoux, 36, from Lyndon, was found to be in breach of her conditions of release.

She was also cited and is due to appear in court on May 20 at 8:30 a.m. Following the investigation, Ledoux received a courtesy ride home from the troopers.
