WEST SPRINGFIELD — The West Springfield Police Department has requested the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of approximately $1,000 worth of Nike merchandise from the Kohl’s Department Store at 935 Riverdale St. on April 8 at about 8:30 p.m.
According to authorities, the individual swiftly left the premises with the stolen items and entered a vehicle parked outside.
A brief car chase ensued but was terminated promptly due to concerns for public safety.
The vehicle involved in the pursuit has been located, and charges are pending against the registered owner.
The West Springfield Police have released images of the suspect in the hope that members of the community can assist in his identification.
