UXBRIDGE — A motorcycle fire on Route 146 North just past Exit 1 has caused the highway to be reduced to one lane, slowing traffic to a crawl, the Uxbridge Police Department reported Monday.
Emergency responders from the Uxbridge Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police are on the scene, working to clear the incident.
Police have confirmed that there have been no injuries reported in connection with the fire.
Motorists traveling through the area are advised to expect delays and to exercise patience as the situation is being handled.
The cause of the motorcycle fire is currently under investigation.
