DERBY –– A local business known for supporting pet and farm needs, The Farmyard Store, is currently hosting a raffle to aid animal rescue organizations in the area. This initiative, spearheaded by store owner Nathan Hamblett, marks the first of what he hopes will become an annual tradition.
With a commitment to giving back to the community, particularly in supporting voiceless animals, The Farmyard Store has set its sights on assisting various local animal shelters. The beneficiaries include Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Shelter, Friends For Life Dog Rescue, and Felines & Friends Foundation – Vermont. These organizations play a crucial role in providing care and shelter for animals in need.
The raffle, offering a grand prize of a Harman P43 pellet stove, is designed to attract community participation. Alongside the stove, other prizes include a ton of wood pellets and a $150 in-store gift certificate. Each ticket is priced at $100, with only 100 tickets available, ensuring exclusivity and a higher chance of winning for participants.
All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the selected animal rescues, aligning with Hamblett’s vision of continuous support for non-profit organizations dedicated to animal welfare.
