FOXBOROUGH — A local man was arraigned on multiple firearm-related charges after a bullet was found to have pierced a neighbor’s trailer in Norfolk Park.
On April 8, a resident of 131 Washington St. reported a suspected bullet hole in his trailer to the Foxborough Police Department.
Officers and detectives responded, finding that the projectile had entered one side of the trailer and exited the other.
The investigation determined the shot originated from a trailer across the street at the same address.
Upon gathering sufficient evidence, authorities obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s trailer.
The search led to the discovery of a loaded black powder pistol, modified to fire .45 caliber ammunition.
Robert Kurtzer, 44, was subsequently charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition without an FID card, both subsequent offenses, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, and improper storage of a firearm.
Kurtzer, currently on federal probation, appeared in Wrentham District Court today and was released after posting cash bail.
