ALBURGH — Vermont State Police responded to a report of a male causing a disturbance at a Greenwoods Road residence at 11:10 p.m. on April 6.
Upon arrival, troopers from the St. Albans Barracks discovered several items had been damaged.
The investigation quickly led to the identification of the suspect as 21-year-old Jordan Therrien from Swanton.
Therrien was located by police and, following the investigation, was issued a citation for Unlawful Mischief.
He is scheduled to answer to the charge at a later date.
The Vermont State Police did not release any information about the victim in compliance with their policy on incidents involving sexual assault or domestic violence.
