NASHUA — In a significant crackdown on drug-related offenses, six individuals were apprehended during the week ending April 5, as part of a joint effort between the Hudson Police Department and the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem Oriented Policing Unit.
The arrests, conducted under the New Hampshire Substance Abuse Reduction Grant, targeted various drug crimes and related criminal activities.
Among the arrested was 22-year-old Ryan Rutstein, facing two counts of robbery, a Class B felony. Rutstein was released on personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment scheduled at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court.
Mark Ruppel, 35, was also detained, charged with two counts of selling a controlled drug (Fentanyl), classified as a Special Felony. Similar to Rutstein, Ruppel was released on personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at the same court.
Melissa Graves, 48, was arrested on an active Capias warrant for the original offense of possessing a controlled drug. Graves is currently held without bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, awaiting her arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court.
Further arrests included 52-year-old Timothy Dulac, apprehended on an active Electronic Bench Warrant. Dulac faces charges for operating a vehicle after certification as a habitual offender, a Class B felony, driving after revocation or suspension, and driving without giving proof, both Class A misdemeanors. He was released on personal recognizance bail.
Peter Hartwell, 48, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of controlled drugs (Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine), both Class B felonies. Like several others, Hartwell was released on personal recognizance bail pending his court appearance.
Lastly, 40-year-old Joanne Levigne was detained on an active Capias warrant, additionally charged with possession of a controlled drug (Fentanyl), a Class B felony. Levigne is being held without bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending her arraignment.
The names of those arrested are as follows: Ryan Rutstein, Mark Ruppel, Melissa Graves, Timothy Dulac, Peter Hartwell, and Joanne Levigne.
