IRASBURG — A 27-year-old woman from Orleans was taken to North Country Hospital on Saturday after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
Police say that Trisha Guertin was riding a 1982 Kawasaki KZ305 motorcycle near Covered Bridge Road in Irasburg, on Vermont Route 58 at around 4:30 p.m.
Guertin was traveling east near the crest of a hill and a left hand curve in the road when she veered too far to the right and traveled off of the roadway.
Orleans EMS responded to the scene and transported her to North Country Hospital. According to a statement issued by the Vermont State Police, Guertin suffered an injury to her arm.
The motorcycle sustained front end damage. There is no update as to Guertin’s condition.
