HAMPTON — A single vehicle crash into the toll booths from Route 101 to Interstate 95 resulted in a vehicle fire this morning, prompting police to advise drivers to avoid the area.
Both the operator and a juvenile passenger were safely removed from the vehicle before the fire began.
Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, and firefighters extinguished the blaze.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
