WILTON — Officers from the Wilton Police Department, alongside the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and other local agencies, executed a search warrant early Thursday morning that led to the arrest of five individuals on drug-related charges.

The raid, which took place at a Weld Road residence at about 8 a.m., was the culmination of a lengthy investigation into illegal drug importation and trafficking.

Authorities seized items indicative of drug trafficking, as well as suspected heroin or fentanyl and cocaine base.

Among those arrested at the scene were Jessica Powers, 41, Jason Masterson, 49, Lance Weymouth, 41, Adam Pearson, 37, all of Wilton, and Jorge Gonzalez, 32, of Rumford.

Weymouth, currently on probation for a 2019 felony assault conviction, was arrested for violating his probation conditions related to illicit drugs.

Powers, out on bail for felony theft, was arrested on a bail violation for drug possession.

The residence, which is located near a main route used by school buses and close to schools, has been the subject of another search warrant in the past year.

Since 2017, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Wilton Police Department have charged numerous individuals connected to this address with drug trafficking and other drug-related offenses.

With ongoing investigations into drug activity at the residence, additional charges may be pending against those involved.
