WILLIAMSTOWN — A routine check of a suspicious vehicle at a local bank late Saturday night led to the arrest of two Orange residents for separate offenses.
At about 11:30 p.m., state troopers conducted a stop at the Bar Harbor Bank where they encountered Emily Hutchinson, 43, behind the wheel.
An investigation revealed Hutchinson was driving with a criminally suspended license and was in breach of her conditions of release set by the court.
She was cited for the violations.
Dakota Rowell, 33, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was discovered to have an outstanding arrest warrant.
Rowell was taken into custody without incident and was later transported to the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
Both Hutchinson and Rowell are from Orange, and the incident remains under further investigation by Vermont State Police.
