SPRINGFIELD — Officers from the Springfield Police Department arrested a man Saturday morning on a warrant confirmed by dispatch.
Ethan Willey was taken into custody at approximately 9:39 a.m. on Giddings Street after officers Guzzo and Singleton arrived on the scene to locate him.
The arrest occurred without incident, according to the department’s press release.
Willey, who had an outstanding warrant with an option for cash or surety bail, was processed at the Springfield Police Department.
He was later transported to Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $200.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 18 at 12:30 p.m. to face charges related to the warrant.
Officers did not provide details on the nature of the warrant.
