SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident following an incident on March 1, according to the Springfield Police Department.
At approximately 7:32 p.m., police received a report of a hit-and-run crash on Charlestown Road. Officers located the vehicle described and stopped it on South Street.
The operator, identified as Stephen Poremba Jr., was issued a criminal citation for leaving the scene of an accident.
He is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 30 to answer the charge.
