NASHUA — Police say a Nashua man is facing felony charges after allegedly firing a high-powered airsoft gun, leading to the discovery of a homemade rifle, airsoft guns, and a large amount of marijuana in his home.
Nashua police arrested 34-year-old Alan Grogg of 50 Lake St. on Saturday, Feb. 25, on suspicion of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.
Police responded to a report of a gunshot on Brook Street and found evidence of a bullet entering a home. They traced the shot to Grogg’s nearby residence.
Grogg admitted to police that he shot an airsoft gun in his backyard.
He also acknowledged creating a rifle with a 3-D printer. A search warrant turned up the rifle, airsoft guns, a 3-D printer, and a significant quantity of packaged marijuana.
Grogg was held on preventative detention and was scheduled for arraignment in Nashua District Court on Feb. 26 at 1 p.m.
