ST. ALBANS — A Milton man was arrested for driving under the influence and violating ignition interlock requirements on Fisher Pond Road in St Albans, according to Vermont State Police.
Joey Mcrae, 51, was apprehended after troopers observed his Ford F-150 veering into the oncoming lane, nearly colliding with a patrol vehicle around 9:40 a.m. on
February 19. The subsequent traffic stop led to the discovery of Mcrae’s impaired state and his non-compliance with an ignition interlock device mandate.
Following his arrest, Mcrae was transported to the Vermont State Police St Albans Barracks and later held at the Northwest State Correctional Facility. His bail was set at $1,500.
Mcrae is scheduled for arraignment at the Vermont Superior Court, Franklin Criminal Division, on February 20 at 1 p.m.
