WELLS RIVER — Vermont State Police are investigating a theft and vandalism incident at Dads 4 By Tool and Supply that occurred on Feb. 17 at approximately 10:45 p.m.
Authorities were alerted to the crime at the business located at 10 Railroad Street when two 20-pound propane tanks were reported stolen.
An attempt to take additional tanks resulted in damage to several others.
Upon reviewing security footage, troopers identified a single male suspect who unsuccessfully tried to cut free several propane tanks before making off with two full tanks.
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
